Karthik Kittu is currently the Chief Innovation Officer at IIITB.

Karthik holds a Bachelor’s of Science and Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from Bangalore University & a Masters in Arts (Psychology) from IGNOU.

He is skilled in delivery excellence, design thinking, building teams, Startup / Social business conceptualization, Startup Incubation Support & Evangelism / Advisory.

Karthik is an accomplished Social Entrepreneur & has 15+ Years of Experience having worked with many Fortune 100 Clients & for Infosys, Dimension-data & KPMG before he turned Entrepreneur and ran an Edu-Tech Venture then was Co-Founder of Culkey Foundation, which is building a Culture Digital assistant for Generation Z.

He represented India on a CII Startup Mission to the United States & was a White House Invitee in December 2017 and also served as the Chair for Entrepreneurship and Innovation for CII Young Indians in 2018-19

He has served Rotaract, the Youth wing of Rotary International for 18 years from 2001-2019 in various roles, was Charter President of Rotaract South Asia Committee leading and mentoring about 50,000+ volunteers in 2010-11 and served as Chairman Emeritus of the Board for 2011-14. Karthik most recently served as a Member of the Rotary International Rotaract and Interact Committee 2016-19 (About 100 (0.00009%) out of 1.2 Million Rotarians Worldwide serve on Presidential Committee’s each year. He was also instrumental in planning the 2017 Atlanta Rotaract Pre-Convention, the 2018 Toronto Rotaract Pre-Convention and 2019 Hamburg Rotaract Pre-Convention.

He also served as a cultural & Vocational Ambassador to USA as part of the Rotary Foundation Group Study Exchange Program in 2010-11 and also is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, London.

Karthik also represented India at the Commonwealth Asia Alliance of Young Entrepreneurs 2014 Summit in Brunei, was part of the 2015 CII Delegation on Cyber Security to Israel and also served as a member of the National Cyber Security Task Force for India from 2015-17 as constituted by NASSCOM & DSCI as envisioned by Hon'ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

He has worked on many projects spanning the fields of Cyber Security, Education & Literacy, Urban Development, Civic Issues like Sanitation & Social Development and brings with himself a wealth of experience working with various departments in the Government, NGO’s, Schools and Colleges & Media Houses.

He also is member of Information Systems Audit and Control Association - USA, Rotary Club of Bangalore South West, the India Science Congress Association is a Startingbloc Fellow, Paul Harris Fellow and was a Traffic Warden with Bangalore City Traffic Police.
Karthik has been recognized by the Hon’ble Governor of Karnataka / Hon’ble Chief Minister of Karnataka for his social entrepreneurship projects & the Hon’ble Governor of Odisha for his yeomen service to society.

Karthik has been awarded the

· Rotaract Club Citation for Outstanding Service by Rotary International President, 2003-04 Rtn. Jonathan Majiyagbe,

· Citation for outstanding services to the Rotaract Movement as DRR from Rotary International President 2008-09 - Rtn. D K Lee,

· Rotaract ‘Service above Self’ Award (The highest honor given to a Rotaractor in Rotaract South Asia MDIO) from the Chairman of the Rotary Foundation of Rotary International and

· ‘Lead the Change’ award from the President of Rotary International for his self-less Service to Rotary.
