Prof. Malapaka
(a) Project Objectives and Deliverables: we wish to explore an unexplored parameter regime in simulations, attempt first ever time in the world topological analysis on the obtained simulated data using methods. if our attempts succeed, we might have publications in highly reputed scientific journals.
(b) Milestones and Outcomes accomplished so far: Brought an HPC using the sanctioned money and are now in the process of commissioning it .. to use it to its full potential (as on 19th July 2018).
(c) Please specify difficulties if any, in achieving the project objectives: Additional Delay has been mainly due to Precision AC work taken up in the data centre (after an initial delay from the vendor in delivering the machine). I was told that the AC work is about to end soon… so I hope we will be able to start our work in all earnest soon.
