August 10, 2025 was a day of immense honour and pride at IIIT-Bangalore as we hosted the Hon'ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi, the Hon'ble Governor of Karnataka, Shri Thawarchand Gehlot, the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Karnataka, Shri Siddaramaiah, the Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister, Shri D. K. Shivakumar, and other eminent dignitaries for the inauguration and foundation stone laying of landmark infrastructure projects-shaping the future not just of Bengaluru, but of our nation.
Our Chairman, IIIT-B Governing Body, Padma Bhushan Shri S. Gopalakrishnan, and Director, Prof. Debabrata Das, had the privilege of welcoming the Hon’ble Prime Minister in IIIT-Bangalore and briefing insights on IIIT-Bangalore’s cutting-edge R&D.
