The International Institute of Information Technology Bangalore (IIIT-Bangalore) hosted the Graduation Ceremony for its Continuing Professional Education (CPE) programmes, celebrating 2,462 learners graduating across technology-focused programmes.

The ceremony marked a significant milestone in the 11-year partnership between IIIT-Bangalore and upGrad, which has built an alumni community of more than 32,000 learners. The collaboration has enabled working professionals and learners to develop skills in emerging technology domains through industry-relevant programmes, supporting career advancement and transitions into technology-led roles.

The graduating cohort includes learners from programmes in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Software Development. The partnership has also contributed to career transitions, with 969 learners moving into new career opportunities during 2025 and 2026, including those placed through upGrad and those who independently secured new opportunities.

The ceremony brought together graduating learners, academic leaders, industry representatives and senior leadership from both institutions.
