Visiting faculty
Education : Ph.D. (IIT Guwahati)
Dr. Samar obtained his M.Tech and Ph.D. from IIT Delhi and IIT Guwahati respectively. He is currently working as Sr. Standards Architect at Intel. Prior to joining Intel, he has worked as Scientist at TCS Research & Innovation and also served as the Vice-Chair of M2M Working Group of Telecommunications Standards Development Society, India (TSDSI). He has more than 15 years of industry and academic experience. He worked with companies such as Novell and Infosys and also served as faculty at various engineering colleges in the past. He has published several papers in various peer reviewed Journals and Conferences and have several granted patents to his credit. He has also served as a member of Technical Program Committee for various international Journals and Conferences.
