Assistant Professor
Education : Ph.D. (IIT Bombay)
Ahana Pradhan has completed her M.Tech. and Ph.D. (dual degree) from CSE, IIT Bombay in 2018 (Specialization: Petri nets and Workflow Systems, Supervisor: Dr. Rushikesh K. Joshi), and has recently completed her postdoctoral research (2023-2025) from CDS, IISc. (Specialization: Databases, Supervisor: Dr. Jayant R. Haritsa. She has 6 years of industry R&D experience (2017-2023) in database technologies from Huawei India. She completed her bachelor's in Computer Science from BESU, Shibpur in 2011. She broadly works in the area of databases, where her interests lie in optimization, reverse engineering, and compliant planning of analytic queries. She is an active programmer and very keen on POC-based systems work. Apart from academics, she has interests in painting and music, and was a finisher in the Bangalore Half Marathon 2018.
