Abhishek is having more than 17 years of experience in Software Design & Development. For last 14 years, he is working in a R&D Division of HAL, Bangalore where he has been involved in product and technology development for Real Time Embedded/Avionics Systems e.g. Mission Computer, Flight Management Computer, Smart Multifunction Cockpit Display systems for Aircraft and Helicopters.
He has led Engineering teams for full life cycle projects from product conceptualization to final proving and certification for Mission Critical and Safety Critical Avionics systems.
His areas of expertise are in the field of Hardware and Software Architecture definition, Software Design, System performance validation & optimization, Real Time Operating System and Algorithms design and analysis.
At present, he is heading the Technology Development Group at the division and involved in Design & Development of a Real Time Operating System (RTOS) for Aerospace domain based on Arinc 653 standard.
His area of interest is Formal validation of RTOS, RTOS security based on MILS, RTOS performance optimization and Temporal and spatial partitioning for Integrated Modular Avionics (IMA) Architecture.
He has authored and presented papers in International seminars & in house R&D conferences. His technical paper on Electronic warfare has conferred him the Best contributor award from AOC, India. 6 nos of patents are also filed based on the work carried out by him in the area of Real Time Avionics system.
Abhishek holds ME degree in Electronics & Control Engineering from BITS, Pilani. To keep himself focused and energised, he likes to play musical instruments, yoga and meditation in his spare time.
