From the Director's Desk:

August is the month when all the students, new and old, are in the campus -- welcome to all! This year, in addition to the new students in iM.tech, M.Tech., Master of Science, and Ph.D. programs, we have the students of the new program, M.Sc. in Digital Society, on campus. All classes have started in full swing in August, with the beginning of Term I of this academic year. I take this opportunity to extend a hearty welcome to each and every one of the new students and to wish each of them the very best during their stay at IIITB.

The Accelerator program at IIITB is making rapid progress. MPhasis has signed a Memorandum of Understanding where they will be funding about 2 crores towards the program. We are grateful to Mphasis management for choosing IIITB to invest.

Senior members from Emc2 visited IIITB during August to discuss research partnership opportunities with IIITB.

You will find more details in the Newsletter.
