[09/2017] There is a JRF/SRF opening on a sponsored project with SERB on visual analytics. We are looking for someone passionate about big data analytics (spatiotemporal and multivariate) using visualizations integrated with other data science algorithms.

Minimum requirements are B.Tech. (in computer science/ mechanical engineering/ information technology) with proficiency in object oriented programming (C++), and good academic record in mathematics. Experience in computer graphics, data visualization are bonuses.

[07/2017] Jaya Sreevalsan Nair presented her paper on "
Using Gradients and Tensor Voting in 3D Local Geometric Descriptors for Feature Detection in Airborne LiDAR Point Clouds in Urban Regions," coauthored by Akshay Jindal, at the 2017 IEEE International Geoscience and Remote Sensing Symposium (IGARSS 2017), during July 23-28, at Fort Worth, Texas, U.S.A. The paper will appear in the proceedings of the conference on IEEE Xplore.

[07/2017] Jaya Sreevalsan Nair presented ongoing projects at GVCL and the E-health Research Center (EHRC) at the Public Affairs Center (PAC), Bangalore, along with Prof. Amit Prakash. Amit gave inputs on the work at CITAPP and EHRC.
