A number of companies and organizations have endowed scholarships to support students pursuing M Tech / MS / PhD programs at IIIT-B. The sponsoring agencies include

 

  • GE – Scholarship for 2 M Tech students (Rs 3 Lakhs) during 2000-2003.
     
  • HP– Scholarship for 3 M Tech students (Rs 3 Lakhs) during 2004-2006.
     
  • Honeywell– Scholarship for 2 M Tech students (Rs 3 Lakhs) during 2004-2005.
     
  • MiSys– Scholarship for 3 M Tech students (Rs 3 Lakhs) during 2002-2004.
     
  • Huawei Technologies– Scholarship for 2 M Tech students (Rs 3 Lakhs) during 2001- 2003, it will start again from the year 2007.
     
  • KSFC– Scholarship for 2 M Tech students (Rs 0.5 Lakhs) during 2004-2006.
     
  • Bank of India– Scholarship for 1 M Tech student (Rs 2 Lakhs) during 2003-2004.
     
  • GoK– Scholarship for 2 M Tech students (Rs 0.50 Lakhs) continuing from 2001.
     
  • Infosys– 2 PhD Scholarship of Rs 3 Lakhs / year from 2005 onwards.
     
  • Siemens– 1 PhD Scholarship of Rs 3 Lakhs / year from 2005 onwards.
     
  • Intel– 1 PhD Scholarship of Rs 3 Lakhs / year from 2006 onwards.
     
  • HP Labs– 1 PhD Scholarship of Rs 3 Lakhs / year from 2007 onwards.

 

  • Motorola– 2 PhD Scholarship of Rs 3 Lakhs / year from 2007 onwards.
