Mr. K Subrahmaniam  is an IT Industry veteran, currently advising many companies for their growth strategy and is also setting up new ventures in IT and non IT sectors.  Mr Subrahmaniam was the President and Managing director of Computer Sciences Corporation  in India  (CSC) till April 2010, managing over 20,000 IT professionals across the globe. In 2007 CSC acquired Covansys and Mr Subrahmaniam was the President and CEO of Covansys India managing international business. He was promoted in 2003 to head Covansys India after more than nine years of successful service to the Company as the chief operating officer. Mr. Subrahmaniam led Covansys India to attain Level 5 SEI CMM certification in process maturity, and Level 5 of the PCMM. Under his leadership the company was ranked in the Best companies to work for Survey by Mercer Business-Today for three years in a row in 2005, 2006 and 2007 as well as in the top 15 Best Employers in India by the Hewitt survey of 2007.


Prior to Covansys, Mr. Subrahmaniam worked in the R&D division of one of India's premier telecommunications companies and was responsible for projects in areas of SCADA, embedded systems, network management systems, and telecom switching & transmission systems. He holds a degree in electrical engineering from the acclaimed College of Engineering, Guindy (Madras University) and a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Adminstration from Annamalai University.
