Thanks to the uniqueness of IIIT-B (location in ITPL / Electronics City, being founded in 1999, involvement of the captains of Indian IT industry and the Public-Private-Partnership model of IIIT-B), the Institute has a large set of linkages with industry in general and IT industry in particular.

IIITB has been selected as a CUDA Teaching Center based on the demonstrated commitment to advancing the state of parallel education using CUDA C/C++.
