Chipmonk is a fabless Semiconductor Design house. The company was incorporated in Aug 2010. Chipmonk is founded by Milind Parab and Peri Venkat Ramana along with Deepak Vardey, Alok Srivastava, Samir Kulkarni, Sudhanshu Saxena and Sanjeev Tyagi. The team has a vast experience in Semiconductor design, manufacturing, design and development of software and systems. |

Chipmonk is in the business of IP creation and licensing. Depending on the product line, the licensing models could be pay-per-use or technology licensing. In phases we plan to migrate from pure licensing business to product manufacturing and direct sale to consumers. The product in this context could be a Semiconductor Chip and/or the end product using the technology that we developed. |

Chipmonk product lines are Iravat™ and Eklavya™. These products offer solutions in semiconductor design space and engineering. Iravat™ aims to build a cloud based platform integrating EDA tools, compute and storage. Eklavya™ refers to a range of solutions for single chip smart metering. |

| Iravat™ |
| |
Iravat™ is an integrated engineering platform hosted on cloud. We integrate EDA tools, design flows, and test environments on a secure cloud infrastructure. We develop techniques integrating soft foundry qualifications programs for foundries globally. We develop on-line pre-package testing, characterization and on-line yield improvement programs. We develop efficient interfaces for IP exchange and qualification.
The goal of Iravat™ is providing access to the best of the EDA tools and on the smartest of Platforms, integrated and ready to use at a fair price and with transparent billing mechanisms

Eklavya™ is a SiP for Smart Energy Meters.
With Eklavya™ Chipmonk empowers Energy meter manufacturers with the semiconductor solution at a cost effective manner and offering them features to differentiate. |
